                                summer is here we have moved our tables under the trees to be

  Spring has come and flowers are out and lambs are born. we can have bear feet.

the sun is out so put our sun hats on and sun block. BE SUN SAFE!!!

on the 7/11/13 room5 went to nothen try outs alot of us got though we rock.

this is our tree that we planted about 2 months ago it has grown really well and some of us take visits daily. And yesterday we did so art ,room 5 did no brush painting ,room 6 did water colours , room 12 did collage and room 11 did charcoal drawings. Here's some photos of the tree.

Swimming

On Tuesday we went for a walk to the Fiordland community pool. We have some people that were acting as fish sharks etc. We had real fun. There was a  group of kids who had free time and who aren't confident in the water .I was one of them only because it is too deep.  by Leon

New classroom

We had a change around in our classroom so we can use our smart board now.Our library corner is now the library middle. Our desks are all around the room in groups of four.

Class Party

Room 5 had a class party! We had balloons, chips, fizzy, lollies, pizza and cheerios.
A few balloons popped. 

We got to wear mufti if we wanted. We had an awesome time.
We had a party to celebrate our money making topic. We brought the food and balloons with the money we made.

For the last six week the senior syndicate have been doing sport so far basket ball, ball room dancing and rippa rugby. Our favourite sport is basketball.   by Mitchell, Jayden and Fern.

Another sunny morning

 

What a beautiful morning it is today.

On Thursday 29th of August  we went to fresh choice supermarket for a visit we had a treasure hunt.
we had to name foods on the top shelf and the bottom cause people usually look in the middle so people who look on the bottom and top would not of seen foods there before. posted by Connor and Bailey.

 

Dancing Space Monkeys by William

My friend is a dancing space monkey who cooks dinner on the sun. He is really nice. He gives me a lot of his baking. He get's his ingredients by baking them and he get's those ingredients  by baking them and so on .He is a master monkey chef . His name is Fred. Fred loves climbing and sleeping in Fred is  just like me.

Our Maori Kiwaha (saying) this week is Koina te korero which mean's Now you're talking. Luke is modelling our action for this saying.
