Messy play
Room 5 and 6 had the chance to do some messy play today. Playdough, gloop, cinnamon scrolls, helicopters. Great fun!

The Music celebration
My heart was pounding as I walked up to the microphone. I couldn't muck up, could I? I did! I missed the third band, just as the last band started I ran out to stop them! Everyone laughed.
The enormous band in Te Anau
On Tuesday Te Anau School went to the club. Then we had to sit on the cold, hard and yellow wooden floor. Ouch, my bum! My head was spinning and my heart was pounding. Then it was Room 5's turn, which was my class! "oh, no!" it was my turn to perform. I was shamed that it was my turn and I got really frightened. We started and then hooray it was finished. I was happy and the crowd went wild, my mum clapped really hard.

Nervous show
It was our turn. I was nervous like I was jumping out of a plane at 100km and falling at 400m per minute. "Liam, stop! I forgot something" said Alice. Phew, ok now it's time. I whacked my drum. Good it went well. We Will Rock you! Rock you!

Music Rocks
I sat on the rock solid stage and I was very nervous just like I had a million snakes in my stomach. Nick and I were the awesome Rocking Red heads. We played Ten Guitars. I played the drums, Nick played the guitar and we rocked! I was as happy as Pharell singing Happy.

Music Rocks
On Tuesday our class nervously wandered down to the club. I had 1,000,000 butterflies in my stomach. My legs felt like jelly. My brain was like ice. My arms were like sticks. I climbed on stage. Me, Alice and Debbie crept over to the piano. We played our song. I was glad it was over.
Music Rocks
I sat nervously on the hard, cold floor. We watched Rooms 6 and 12 play their awesome music. Me and Jack had practiced super hard and now the time had come. We got our glockenspiels and set up. I was as nervous as a turkey at thanksgiving! Alice introduced Triple Trouble but we were before them. I went bright red. Then it was Piping Hot Junior. Once Liam had started Alice came out in front of him and said "We missed one Liam!" everyone froze. Then we started. It was awesome. After the performance Alice said "It slipped my mind".

The nerve-wracking concert
I had a trillion butterflies in my stomach as I walked up on stage. I nearly threw up! Our turn was getting closer by the minute. I got more and more butterflies in that time. It was our go, me and Mitchell played Ten Guitars. Our band name was The Rocking Red Heads. We both did really well. I was really glad that it was a over.

We're going on a maths hunt
On a slightly drizzly Friday Room 5 and Room 6 went on a maths hunt. We buddied up and had to find the 15 clues, they were maths word problems. The incentive to finish quickly was the incoming rain.

Otago university
We have been learning some science today with some science teachers. It was good. We all went to all of the science projects it was so fun we learnt that a big tunnel makes a small sound but a smalltunnel makes a big sound.
