Today we wrote a report about life in Room Five.  This is what we came up with.

All About Room Five
Room Five is a class for Year 4’s and 5’s, which is part of the Senior Syndicate at Te Anau School.   There are 24 students in the class, 12 of them are girls and 12 of them are boys.  12 children are in Year 4 and 12 are in Year 5.  The teacher is Miss Calder.
We are arty, crafty, smarty and sporty.  During the day we learn Numeracy, Spelling, Writing, Reading and topic.  During topic we do experiments, Science, Sports and lots of other things.  The teachers choose a subject and we learn about it.  At the moment we are learning about water.
Te Anau School is at 181 Milford Road, Te Anau.  Te Anau is in Fiordland on the edge of Fiordland National Park.  Which is full of native bush, lakes, Takahe, Kiwi, fiords, mountains and waterfalls.
We are really good at caring for our environment.  Some of us are awesome swimmers.  Other things we are great at are numeracy, writing, reading, spelling, rugby, running, soccer, netball, squash, biking, water sports, basketball, dancing and much, much more.
