What we did in the holidays

Music Rocks

I sat nervously on the hard, cold floor. We watched Rooms  6 and 12 play their awesome music.  Me and Jack had practiced super hard and now the time had come.  We got our glockenspiels and set up. I was as nervous as a turkey at thanksgiving! Alice introduced Triple Trouble but we were before them. I went bright red.  Then it was Piping Hot Junior. Once Liam had started Alice came out in front of him and said "We missed one Liam!" everyone froze.  Then we started. It was awesome. After the performance Alice said "It slipped my mind".

Senior Syndicate assembly

We ran Senior Syndicate assembly on Friday. Alice played the piano and Debbie played the violin for us. Great job everyone.  Nick, Emma and Tom were our MC's.

Next week Jorja and Sophie are travelling with their families to Rarotonga.Hope they have a great time!

Making music at the college

Last week Room 5 walked to the college.We learnt heaps from Mrs Humpries.

3D Marshmallow Shapes

This week Room5 have been learning about shapes.  On Wednesday we made 3D shapes. Here are some pictures. by Sophie, Tom, Jorja and Caitlin

Frozen by Tom

"It's snowing" yelled Callum and Zack.  "Coming" I moaned. I was still in ed and very sleepy. Nana rang up to say kindy was closed, but not school. We all went outside to make a spectacular snowman. Zack made the head, Callum made the small part of the body and I made the big part. We stabbed a wooden gun and a stick for arms, milk bottle tops for eyes, a carrot for it's nose, a bucket for a hat and a bendy stick for a smiley face. "Time to go to school" mum ordered.
