Term One Ends!

Here are some photos of us we are excited that school is finishing in 6 days.  We hope you have a great two weeks holiday. 
It has been a really busy term.  We have had Constable Marty teaching us about Keeping Ourselves Safe, learning about writing a Moment in Time, studying comics and reports.  Here are some photos of some of the great comics that we made about our Easter break.

Hedge Fire

This is our disasterous hedge fire.  There are black and brown branches and sticks.  The gate is half burnt to pieces.  It happened about a month ago at about 5 o'clock. The fire brigade had to come and put it out.  Here are some pictures of the hedge, it is right beside the kindy.  We are lucky it didn't destroy the school!!

This is Room 5 for 2013 aren't we a clever looking bunch.

This term we have been really busy learning about our schools vision and values. As well as finding out about some famous New Zealanders.

Southland Golf Championships

Four children in our class got into the Southland Primary School Golf Championships in Drummond yesterday.
When we got to Drummond we had to get ouur photo taken.  We had to wait for a long time then it started.  We lined up and started playing the game.  On the first hole we played we took 2 shots to get on to the green and 1 put.
We didn't get a placing but we had a great day and won lots of cool raffle prizes.

Thanks a lot to Rebecca who took us and was our manager for the tournament.
