The Butterfly is coming out...

Room 5 has a butterfly that is coming out of it's chrysalis.  "Jordan" said Alice. "Look there is a butterfly!".  "Cool, there is another chrysalis" I said to Alice.  The one that is hatched is drying out it's wings.  Later that afternoon the other butterfly came out.  By Jordan

Athletics day 6/3/14

Yesterday was athletics day.  May's favourite part of the day was the sausages.
Zayla enjoyed the high jump because she didn't knock the bar off!  Maggie enjoyed getting into Northerns for shotput and discus.  Emma enjoyed the high jump and the sprints.  Luke broke the 1500m record!

The Chrysalis have arrived

This term Room 5 have had their first chrysalis.  I wonder how long it will take?

The challenge of Mount Prospect

This Thursday as part of our Outdoor Education week - we climbed Mount Prospect. We all made it to the top, and it's a long way to the top! Great job everyone - Anyone else have sore legs?

The class fish

This is the new fish , that is black and has  goggle eye. And looks like a hammer  head.
