Next week Jorja and Sophie are travelling with their families to Rarotonga.Hope they have a great time!

Snowy day

• Dylan climbed up a tree and tried to get a picture of the whole school. 
• We had a look at the hangi pit, it is more like a lake today.
• We had snow this morning, but it has melted now, apart from patches in the shade.

M and M maths: Making fractions

 

Room 5 and 6 has been doing some mms  maths.We did a sheet which  includes eating the mms and making fractions from the colours.

THE COMMONWEALTH GAMES ARE BEING HELD IN SCOTLAND THIS YEAR THEY ARE LIKE THE OLYMPICS EXCPT ITS NOT THE WHOLE WORLD IT JUST THE CONTRIES THAT ARE BELOW THE QUEEN.

Our celebration

Te Anau school had roast.  It was meant to be a hangi but it was cancelled.   The food was cooked at The Distinction and eaten at the Holiday park.
